Tap your TextNow main menu to see the button to Remove Ads:
From here, you can choose to have your Ad Free+ feature auto-renew monthly.
Help! I signed up for Ad Free+ but I'm still seeing ads!
If you're signed into an Ad Free+ account but you're still seeing ads, log out of your TextNow app (under the TextNow Settings menu > Log Out) and log back in.
How do I delete my account and take the premium off

I have purchased the premium but I tried the trouble shoot and it still shows ads and it's almost time for my renewal to go again. I have paid for the previous month but this whole time it has showed the ads and made me change number.

Thanks for reaching out! Your premium subscription is auto-renewing so you don't actually have to make any changes for the plan to renew again at the end of each billing period. We understand that the expiry message is a bit misleading and are working to get that fixed. In the meantime you can simply ignore that message and the subscription should continue to renew unless you choose to cancel it at any time.
I paid for the subscription however i am still receiving the ads. I did as directed above however its still showing ads. Please assist!

When my Apple phone is activated with TextNow do I have to use the app to text and call or can I use regular Apple apps like everyone else
Hi there! That's a great question- once you activate your iPhone (or any phone) with our service, you will only be able to use the TextNow app for all your calls and texts. However, we do have some articles outlining workarounds, so you can still use services like FaceTime :)

To cancel your premium, all you have to do is open up the TextNow app:
1. Tap on the top left parallel bars to open up the menu
2. Tap on the "premium" bubble
3. Tap on "check subscription status"
On the bottom of the next page, there will be a prompt called "cancel subscription" through which you'd have to sign into your iTunes account to complete the cancellation
I pay for premium. can I get a number ported in from Verizon?

Does it come with data to use away from wifi

If I purchase the premium upgrade, do the benefits extend across all platforms or just the one I purchased it on? For example, if I use an android tablet, an iPod, and the web interface to check my messages depending on where I am, do I need to purchase premium 3 times to ensure that I am ad-free on all the devices? If I purchase a year subscription through the iTunes store, will the android app automatically recognize that I am premium based on my textnow account?

Great question! The premium service is connected to your account not the specific device. So purchasing it on your iOS device will allow you to use the service ad-free when you login to the same account on an Android device.

Hi there! To cancel your premium subscription, simply open up your Google PlayStore app:
1. Tap on the top left parallel bars to open up your menu
2. Tap on "Account" - My subscriptions
From there, you can manage your subscription, including cancelling your TextNow one!

Hi there! At this point in time, we only support call forwarding to North American numbers (Canada or U.S). We also don't support sms forwarding, although that is a request that is being looked into!
My iTunes and app account is frozen because my credit card didn’t authorize the renewal fee. I was in a accident in Oct and that’s why I got the premium since it was cheaper to do that rather than a phone bill, but the app slowed my phone and sometimes froze it the app itself so I just wasn’t going to renew. Apple says now I have unpaid bill and you guys have locked my apple account. Help?

TextNow does not have the authority to lock your iTunes account. If you are having trouble with your iTunes or Apple account you should contact iTunes support.
Additionally, if you want to cancel your TextNow premium service to avoid future charges, you can cancel your subscription through your iTunes account once you get logged back in.
