Here's what you get with TextNow Ad Free+:

  • Ad Removal: Removes the ad banners from the TextNow app.
  • Call Forwarding: Forward the calls to your TextNow phone number to any other phone number in the US or Canada.
  • Phone Number Locking: Locks your TextNow phone number to your account for as long as you have Premium, and your number won't be recycled for inactivity. 

Ad Free+ features are offered at monthly rates, and will auto-renew every month. Here's how you can turn on Ad Free+

Tap your TextNow main menu to see the button to Remove Ads:

From here, you can choose to have your Ad Free+ feature auto-renew monthly. 

 

Help! I signed up for Ad Free+ but I'm still seeing ads!

If you're signed into an Ad Free+ account but you're still seeing ads, log out of your TextNow app (under the TextNow Settings menu > Log Out) and log back in.

    Okay why do I see TextNow ads still on my premium subscription???.? Frustrating! I did not pay to still see ads!! Not even their own dumb ads!!

    If you're still seeing ads on your TextNow app after updating to premium we'd definitely like to get this resolved for you! Please email community@textnow.com with a screenshot of the ads you're seeing as well as the TextNow phone number or username on your account so we can get this resolved.

    Hello, I have premium account and I want to add 5 more numbers to same account, please help me doing it. I have read about Family Plan and I am interested in it but activating is too confusing. I want 6 premium numbers registered under same account. I don't want wireless plans etc. Just premium plan for 6 numbers.

    Hey Gamal! That is not a feature that we can support. Our family plans are only available for wireless accounts, and would include a phone and service under each account. The only link between the accounts would be one master account that's used for all billing.

    Hi Gregory,

    If you no longer wish to use your TextNow account you can log out and delete the app from your phone at any time. Accounts cannot be permanently deleted for legal reasons.

    I wasn’t trying to violate your terms of use, I accidentally changed my number I had for years and tried to text a lot of people my new number can you give me access to it again please I’ve been with u of over 5 years never had an issue I won’t do it again or at least give me access to the text messages i have saved for years?

    I am still seeing ads … day two. I tried the method for clearing as listed above and also tried reinstalling. Neither worked. I got the email from google who has it marked as paid. Please help me

    Hey J.Blaise- On our end, your account is still showing up as free. It can take up to 48 business hours for us to receive the confirmation from Google for the payment, so once that period is up, if you're still not seeing a premium account, please contact us at community@textnow.com with a screenshot of your Google receipt.

    I had premium service and lost my number and I am desperately needing it back. I have submitted requests and have gotten no response and it's really frustrating. How can I just speak to a representative?

    I've taken a look at your account and it doesn't appear that you've had premium service on your current account for at least 7 months. However, if you know the number that you'd had previously that you're looking to get back, please email community@textnow.com with your TextNow username and the number you're looking for and we can see if it's available for you.

    If you're using a free account, chances are very good that your number will be recycled within the 30 days if not use.

    Well thankfully that's not how its working now. I go weeks without using a number for voice or text and then I get a reminder to send a text to myself or I'll lose the number. I should be thankful I guess.

    Different accounts will have different timelines based on how long you've been with us, how often you use it, etc. So the 3 days is a good rule of thumb for all accounts, generally speaking.

    I am constantly having performance issues with the free version of this app. I think the ads are the reason, causing my other apps and itself to stop responding and forced to close all the time. Also a lot of times i do not get calls, they will go straight to voicemail. The other day I had not touched my phone for at least 4 hrs and when I went to pick it up, it was very hot. I looked at the battery consumption, and TextNow had been using 20% of my battery! So my question is, if I purchase the premium version will it alleviate these problems, will I see a noticeable difference?

    Does buying Premium work in Canada?
    Because there's no service anywhere in Canada for data plans which totally sucks big time.
    So before I spend either $4 a month or $40 yr, I want to make sure it will work and remove ads for this Canadian TextNow user.
    I do appreciate having this much phone access at any rate.
    Wifi-bound but better than nothing....
    But.... C'mon! Bring it up north past the 49th parallel already! Screw the overpriced other phone companies!

    What the hell
    Comments are all over a year old and older! Did my question fall into the ether and not be read or seen or received? I just want to know if living in Canada thwarts even buying ad-free premium. Wish data plans were here too.
