Help! I signed up for Ad Free+ but I'm still seeing ads!

If you're signed into an Ad Free+ account but you're still seeing ads, log out of your TextNow app (under the TextNow Settings menu > Log Out) and log back in.

    I submitted my problem where the ads are still showing up even though I bought premium, and my texts disappear as soon as I hit the send Arrow. Half of the time to text reappear and go through several minutes later, and half of the time to text or just gone. I can't get any help because I sent a request for help via the support portal, but then got an email back saying that now they are handled live. Unfortunately, the link sends me right back to where I submit the request through the portal. What is going on?

    Hi Albert,

    If you change your plan or download the app on another phone, you can still access the same account with your existing phone number. Simply login using the same email and password that you have on your current account.

    All I would like to know is if it's possible to port a phone number from the TextNow app to my TMOBILE account and if so, how? I'll pay If need be, that's not a problem! If this is not possible, any suggestions on how I can pick and choose a phone number to my liking with Tmobile would be greatly appreciated! just like the fact that I van look through a list of numbers to find one that I like. Tmobile gives you 2 or 3 choices at the most, it sucks. I know you guys know all the tricks so I am looking forward to your response. Thank you. 😊

    Hey Pauletta! Cancelling your premium is just as easy.

    Find the "premium" button under your number in the TextNow app's menu. It should lead you to a page where you can choose to "Manage subscription"- cancel it from there!

    Hey Brian! That sounds like your phone that you're trying to activate is not carrier-unlocked. Unfortunately, that's not something that we can help with.

    You would need to contact your previous carrier to have them unlock your phone for use with other carriers (such as us!)

    If that's not possible, please reach out to our live chat support on textnow.com/wireless (bottom right-hand side) for assistance with a refund.

    Hi Eli,

    You can purchase either an annual or monthly premium subscription at a time. If you want the premium service for 6 months you can purchase the monthly and let it auto-renew for 6 months and then cancel if you no longer wish to continue using the premium service.

    All premium upgrade payments are made through the Google Play/App Store.

    You won't currently be able to upgrade your account online. If you're having trouble with your purchase, please make sure that you are logged into your Google Play account on your phone and that you have valid billing information set up for that account.

    Is this just nonsense? I tried to upgrade to premium. The website says it's about $20 per year. BUT, there is no way to upgrade on the website. When I try to do it on my phone it's about $40 per year. You guys do know that bait and switch is illegal?Just like there being a law that prevents you from selling phones that are "locked" to your system. Yet, to get around that law, clearly just subverting the ENTIRE purpose of that law, you sell phones than which, you claim, are unlocked but in which you have installed a ROM that prevents the phone to be used on another network. That, clearly subverting the intention of a law, is illegal too. Let's see if you even post this message.

    Hey Arthur! We don't advertise the premium subscription on our website, as it can only be purchased through the mobile app (through your Google or iTunes account).

    @Kishore, please reach out to our chat support team to verify your account and request your port out information.

    @Xandria, Contacts for the TextNow app are synced from your phone's contacts list. There is no separate contacts list available for solely the TextNow app.

    @Pinkntwinn, You don't need to upgrade to use voicemail on your TextNow app. All accounts, including our basic free accounts offer free voicemail! For more details you can check out this support article.

    @Malchediel, You will need a separate premium subscription if you have two separate Google Play accounts on each phone. If you are logged into the same Google Play account on both phones you will only need one subscription.
