Tap your TextNow main menu to see the button to Remove Ads:

Help! I signed up for Ad Free+ but I'm still seeing ads!

If you're signed into an Ad Free+ account but you're still seeing ads, log out of your TextNow app (under the TextNow Settings menu > Log Out) and log back in.

    I’m so confused when I got the app and was set up it was on premium but when I click it it takes me to app subscription but I just see Apple Music and I scroll down I see the text now app but I click it but just shows that I downloaded it and doesn’t show when it expires so it’s my first time using this so I don’t know what to do when it comes to choosing monthly or yearly I need help and steps to understand what I’m doing.     Hey there! It seems like you have the monthly renewal premium subscription.

    Best way to check out your status is to open up the TextNow app:
    1. Tap on the top left parallel bars to open up your menu
    2. Tap on "premium"

    That should bring you to a page where you can manage your subscription, and check on anything else you may need confirmation of :)

    Ok still see nothing just Apple Music subscription when I check status after clicking premium so it message me saying it expires in 5 days so when it’s up then I can choose to continue the monthly subscription and if I don’t want to I won’t be charge and I’ll just get the pop up ads when using this app

    I have purchased premium and I wasn’t seeing ads. Now I’m seeing ads again. My monthly subscription was paid. So why am I seeing the ads again? Please fix it.

    @Lady Kee- I don't see the premium on your account, so I'd suggest that you send us a screenshot of your receipt through Google for the premium subscription to community@textnow.com so we can escalate that!

    I have paid subscription. When I try to turn on call forwarding I get a message to get paid subscription (which I already have)
    in addition I see "get premium subscription message in the top left corner of the screen. I cannot remove it and i cannot set up forward calls. I did clear memory, re-installed the app but i still get the same message.

    In order to investigate this, please send a screenshot of your Google receipt of your premium purchase to community@textnow.com so we can escalate accordingly

    If I have a premium subscription for my account on an Android device, will that carry over to an iOS device? Or do you force customers to pay twice

    Hey Adam! Unfortunately, your premium subscription is tied to either a Google PlayStore account or an iTunes account. So that means that if you originally purchased the premium on your Android, your proof or purchase and billing is tied to your PlayStore account, which iOS won't recognize.

    So in this case, you would need to cancel your subscription through Google and resubscribe on the iOS device.

    I can not upgrade. When I arrive to the last screen the price for monthly and yearly are: %1$d$ and I touch all the screen and nothing happens

    The final confirmation of payment for your premium upgrade is through the Google Play Store. If this is where you're running into trouble you should contact their support team so they can determine why the payment is not being processed.

    I use two different textnow subscriptions for work, and I cannot upgrade one of them two premium due to the limitations on my iTunes. How do sign up for premium otherwise?

    We'd need to know what restrictions your iTunes account has. All in-app purchases, including upgrades, must go through the App Store so you may need to contact them to find out how you can make a purchase to upgrade your account.

    Hey @Tamo- unfortunately, our call forwarding is only available with North American numbers.

    @Kyle- We can only port in numbers to wireless subscription, not free or premium, unfortunately.

    @Leandro- The account that you're currently logged into is a free account, would you be able to email us at community@textnow.com with your premium account information, so we can take a look?

    I have premium account, and have received a text on April 16th, saying "this is a friendly reminder that your TextNow Premium subscription will expire in 5 days. Visit the TextNow store to extend it now!"
    I have tried everything I can think of and can't find any way to renew. The website says in several places that the Premium accounts will "auto renew" and if so why did I get the "friendly reminder". I would just like to renew please

    Hi Marc,

    I've taken a look at your account and it doesn't look like your subscription is set up to auto-renew. This may be a result of a bug that occurred at the time the subscription was enabled, so this month you will need to let the subscription expire and then once it has you will be able to renew it again through the TextNow app menu.

    We apologize that the message you'd received was misleading, we'll be sure to look into the wording of that message going forward to avoid any confusion.

    I've just ordered a phone and plan from your service. the phone i ordered from was not my own so I'm concerned you don't have my correct info such as email address, etc. what should i do? i also chose the number offered when i purchased but now i see the number has expired.

    @Ashantte, TextNow does not officially support collect calls from correctional institutions.

    @Kyle, I would recommend reaching out to our chat support team so we can speak to you directly and swap the order to your account if necessary. We will be available in the bottom right corner of this page from 10am-5:30pm EST daily to assist you.

    @Osama, We don't recommend using a TextNow number for verification or other 3rd party calling services. If you are trying to do that but having trouble you would need to contact Whatsapp support directly.
