Elastic Calling


Elastic Calling is TextNow’s unique ability to have our calls choose the best route for your call to improve quality. TextNow tests the quality between wifi, 3G/4G and voice, and switches on-the-fly to the path that gives you the best calling experience.

You can find those settings in your TextNow Settings menu, under Calling > Elastic Calling:

Data Fallback: Allows TextNow to send and receive calls through your carrier's 3G/4G network, without Wi-Fi

Voice Fallback: Allows TextNow to send and receive calls through your carrier's voice network.

    My calls and messages are not being delivered or going through even though it's ringing on my end along with I'm having trouble receiving messages. Austin Cassity ajc21x@gmail.com 5754682695 TextNow number I use a LG tribute I purchased through the app as well as I have the app on my tablet. I have WiFi and am always connected. I am on the 9.99 premium plan

    I have been able to receive and make calls but for some reason when my parents who live right next door try to call me, it does nothing on their end. (Doesn't ring or anything) Very frustrating. I need my parents to be able to reach me anytime

    Hey Paul! If this is happening on the web browser, unfortunately, we don't store your call history on that platform.

    Hello

    The Custom Voice Mail Greeting will not stay on in my settings.
    I’ve recorded a Custom Voice Mail Greeting several times and saved it in my settings and every time I back out of my settings and then go back in to check on it it keeps automatically changing the settings back and it puts my settings back to default voice mail greeting.

    I've tried everything
