Tap your TextNow main menu to see the button to Remove Ads:

Help! I signed up for Ad Free+ but I'm still seeing ads!

If you're signed into an Ad Free+ account but you're still seeing ads, log out of your TextNow app (under the TextNow Settings menu > Log Out) and log back in.

    Am i getting charged daily for this premium thin.. Cuz it keeps sayin ty for ur purches and then the next day does it again i thought it was monthly

    Hey Kristi- It does seem as though you're on the monthly renewal for the premium subscription. It should not be charging you daily, though I would check with your bank statement to confirm there aren't any double charges. We can't see them on our end, as the billing goes through the Google PlayStore, which we don't have access to.

    Hey Jamie- you actually only have one active number! If you're referring to the number showing up on your phone's settings (under About Phone) being different, that is expected. That number is actually just your proxy number that we use to route all of your calls through Sprint's network. As long as you make the call through your TextNow app, however, your TextNow number will show up on your Caller ID.

    No I'm not talking about the phone number on my phone settings. I got an email about an active phone number getting ready to expire. But it wasn't my correct phone number.

    Hi Peter,

    All premium subscriptions are purchased and managed through the Google Play Store (or App store if you're using an iPhone). You can log into your app store account to cancel your premium subscription for your TextNow application at any time.

    Hi there,

    We are unable to port numbers to Free or Premium accounts at this time. So you can upgrade your account to Premium but you will not be able to port your number unless you have a monthly data plan with TextNow.

    I'm afraid that we cannot permanently delete accounts for legal reasons. It does not look as though anyone is currently logged into the account. If you'd like, you can log back in and change the email address on file and the password.

    Thanks for contacting TextNow Support! I'm afraid I don't see any Premium account under the login you used to post your message. If you have more than one TextNow account, you might simply be signed into the wrong one.

    Hey Mia! We can't cancel your premium subscription from our end, due to the billing being tied to Google, rather than us.
    We can help you though- simply open up your TextNow app and tap on the top left parallel bars to open up the menu:
    1. Tap on "premium"- manage subscription

    The other method would be to open up your Google PlayStore app- tap on the top left parallel bars to open up the menu- tap on "subscriptions"- find TextNow and cancel it from there!

    @Johnny- I'm afraid that the premium subscription can only be purchased through a mobile device (either through the Google PlayStore or the Apple App Store). You may have to reach out to Google Support for further information to why the purchase failed.

    Hi Kari,

    You can cancel your premium subscription through the Google Play Store directly. Simply open up the Play Store on your phone > Search for TextNow > Select Cancel Premium

    I had to change my credit card info and when it ran out on old card, I removed the file for old one and put in a new card info, purchased the monthly plan and the ads have yet to be removed. I cleared the cache and data, restarted my phone, even forced stop on the app in task killer, still acting as if I never purchased it... What do I do?

    I tried the free trial for premium and cancelled it before i was supposed to be charged because i never had premium service still had ads and it was the exact same. So i didnt want to pay for something i wasnt receiving. I have been charged 2.99 over 10 times. I had to take my money out of my acct because it keeps getting charged and now every time its charged its declined and im getting charged a .50 fee for it being ran and bounced back because of the negative balance. So im not the happiest person right now. I have been charged well over 30 to 40 dollars and thats not including the .50 cent fees. I need someone to please contact me immediately before im charged anymore.
