Here's what you get with TextNow Ad Free+:
- Ad Removal: Removes the ad banners from the TextNow app.
- Call Forwarding: Forward the calls to your TextNow phone number to any other phone number in the US or Canada.
- Phone Number Locking: Locks your TextNow phone number to your account for as long as you have Premium, and your number won't be recycled for inactivity.
Ad Free+ features are offered at monthly rates, and will auto-renew every month. Here's how you can turn on Ad Free+
Tap your TextNow main menu to see the button to Remove Ads:
From here, you can choose to have your Ad Free+ feature auto-renew monthly.
Help! I signed up for Ad Free+ but I'm still seeing ads!
If you're signed into an Ad Free+ account but you're still seeing ads, log out of your TextNow app (under the TextNow Settings menu > Log Out) and log back in.

I've taken a look at your account and it looks like your account has not been upgraded to our premium service and you are currently using our free app. If you're being charged though, we would like to figure out why! Please send us a screenshot of the invoices you're receiving for the payments so we can investigate this for you. You can email the screenshot to community@textnow.com.
All payments do go through the Play Store for our premium application, so you may also want to reach out to their support team as they may be able to see something on their end that we cannot.
I am also facing issues, i raised a ticket, no response. I paid through google play store, it is updated in order history in play store, but, my account is not yet upgraded in textnow app.

You can sign up for an account and then once the account is created you'll be able to get a number for free calling and texting within and to the US and Canada through WiFi.

Is it possible to port an existing number to TextNow ?

We can port most numbers to a wireless TextNow account! If you would like to submit a port request check out our porting support article. Please note that we can only port numbers to accounts with an active data plan, not free accounts, at this time.
Thanks, Erin. So I guess that means I cannot port a Canadian number as you do not offer data plans in Canada. Is that correct? What about porting a number to a premium account?
That is correct, we can't currently port a number to a premium account either.
I get premium every month and this month its not working, even tho it shows the money taken out of my account

I have the same problem as some other users. I've paid for the premium app, and Google shows the subscription as active, but the app isn't upgrading/removing the ads. I tried the clear cache, clear data and force stop option, but that didn't seem to work. I have a Samsung s7 phone Thanks.

Hi. I got a text message from TextNow that my subscription is about to expire in four days even though my subscription is supposed to be monthly subscription. Was my subscription for a single month? And, how do I change my monthly subscription to annual?

Hey @Pav- it looks like you were able to add a forwarding number to your account after all :)
@Sami- While we cannot look at your billing on our end, it does sound as though you are currently on the monthly renewal plan. You can simply cancel your subscription, and once it is up, upgrade to premium once again, but this time, choose the annual option instead of the monthly

I'm having the same issues. I upgraded to premium, cleared cache and still seeing ads and no premium services.

I have been with text now for over a year great service I remember there was an upgrade service for cellphones after a 4 month or 6 month period is that still available..
