Enable/Disable Call Forwarding

Whether you are using an iOS or an Android device, you will be able to purchase and enable Call Forwarding through your TextNow app as part of the Premium upgrade. (The Premium upgrade includes Call Forwarding, Ad Removal, and Phone Number Locking.) Please note: call forwarding cannot be enabled through the web client at this time.

Buy Call Forwarding

  • Tap the TextNow main menu button  
  • Tap on Store
  • Tap on Buy Premium

Using Call Forwarding on iOS

  1. Tap the main menu button  
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Go to Call Forwarding 
  4. Slide the switch to ON
  5. Enter the phone number that you want to forward your phone calls to
  6. Tap the Back button

Note: Call Forwarding can be disabled from the same screen, by setting the "Forward Calls" switch to OFF.

Using Call Forwarding on Android

  1. Tap the main menu button  
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Go to Call Forwarding 
  4. Check the Call Forwarding checkbox
  5. Enter the phone number that you want to forward your phone calls towards
  6. Press OK
  7. Tap the back button

Note: Call Forwarding can be disabled from the same screen, by removing the checkmark next the "Forward Calls" field. 

Account does not recognize I've purchased Call Forwarding

Please sign out and back in to your account. If the issue persists, submit a request to our Support team, including your username and the proof of purchase (receipt from Play Store or App Store, depending on the type of device you are using). We will be happy to resolve this for you manually!
